Isabelle Barber – Violin

Isabelle Barber – Violin

Tuesday 16th July at 12 noon
Temple Methodist Church

Accompanied by Kevin Hurst on piano.

Isabelle began playing the violin at four years old. Aged nine she auditioned successfully for the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain. Isabelle plays in a range of ensembles from trios to orchestra, fueling her passion for orchestral, chamber music and solo playing. She sings with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and enjoys composing in her free time. She is in her final year at Millfield School and plans to study for a music degree starting September 2019. Isabelle’s recital will have a mid-European flavour with pieces by Smetana and others. Her accompanist Kevin Hurst lives in Budleigh, teaches piano and clarinet, and performed in the 2018 Festival.
