Eliza lives in Kingsbridge, Devon and began learning the recorder at the age of eight. Following lessons in primary school, she was awarded a place at the prestigious Purcell School of Music studying with Barbara Law. Eliza reached the woodwind category final of BBC Young Musician of the Year 2018 and was awarded the Walter Todd prize for ‘Most Promising Musician’ outside of the overall final. Eliza is currently studying the recorder under Tabea Debus at Wells Cathedral School. Eliza will be performing an eclectic programme which reflects her varied interests from mediaeval to contemporary music.
